That's right. TIME Magazine just published an article about the coming-of-age of the podcast novel or 'podiobook'. This is hugely significant as it comes on the heels of Scott Sigler's novel CONTAGIOUS reaching the #33 spot on the New York Times Bestseller List. (For those of you who don't know, Scott was one of the very first podcast novelists -- much like Tee Morris, JC Hutchins, Mur Lafferty, Matthew Wayne Selznick and myself, Scott built his audience on Podiobooks.com
This means podiobooks have officially arrived as a phenomenon. The traditional publishing world is starting to wake up to the world of podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, the iPhone, etc. And the Way New Novelists, to rip off a Web 1.0-ism -- are beginning to get noticed.
